Enterprise Software Solutions invites organizations working on process improvement
initiatives to participate in its official SEISM authorized 3-day Introduction to
Capability Maturity Model® Integration (CMMI®) Version 1.1 Staged and Continuous
Representations course. This course benefits not only the practitioners already
involved in process improvement activities, but also those who are planning on initiating
process improvement in their organizations. This training is a mandatory requirement
for participating as a SCAMPISM Appraisal Team Member (Standard CMMI® Appraisal
Method for Process Improvement team member). This training is also a pre-requisite
for any member to pursue the Lead Appraiser or the Instructor track.

Course Overview |
The Introduction to the Capability Maturity Model Integration, Combined course introduces
participants to the CMMI® Model and its fundamental concepts. The course emphasizes
understanding of the process improvement concepts, CMMI® Model, the six capability
levels and five maturity levels, characteristics of each Capability and Maturity
level, structure of the model and coverage of all practices (specific and generic
practices) in the model.

Participants are expected to possess a minimum knowledge of systems
engineering, software
engineering and management, with exposure to quality assurance,
configuration management, and basic management principles.
No process improvement experience or model knowledge is assumed. It
is not required that
participants have any model knowledge or process improvement
