Outsourcing process is supported by the ISO, CMM and CMMI frameworks and assimilates
the best practices from the industry.

Tool based approach: ESS uses a combination of standard and proprietary tools.
In addition, we have developed a number of in-house tools for effective project
management and execution.
Online dashboards: As part of ESS’s Application Maintenance Outsourcing service
offering, a web-based dashboard of detailed metrics, reflecting the status of different
projects, as well as relationships is implemented. These Dashboards can be customized
to meet individual Critical to Quality (CTQ) measurement needs of individual relationships.
Knowledge management: ESS’s Application Maintenance Outsourcing service rests
on the foundation of our knowledge repository. A Knowledge Management process and
enterprise tools to provide access-using portals support the knowledge repository.
Early offshore leverage: ESS has a unique changeover strategy, which enables

methodology: This is used to bring in operational excellence and productivity improvements
during the execution of projects.
Delivering year-on-year TCO reduction: Our Application
Maintenance Outsourcing methodology allows the customer to actually see the benefits
of the application improvement recommendations that are implemented. ESS will
actually commit to a fix percentage of year on year TCO reduction. This percentage
will largely depend on the mix of application and technologies.
Delivering on committed
service levels: ESS takes pride in managing a majority of its large Application
Maintenance Outsourcing engagements using SLAs, and on a Fixed-Price basis. We are
successfully supporting mission critical application ‘follow-the sun’ approach without
missing on SLAs.
